At Lula Convenience, we have a system of default roles to facilitate smooth operations and ensure appropriate employee access levels. These roles define responsibilities and permissions for individuals at different levels within the organization. By implementing these default roles, we enhance security, promote efficiency, and support decision-making across all levels of the organization, contributing to the success of our platform and the businesses it serves.

Default roles

Staff

The Staff role represents the most basic level of employees typically assigned to a single store. Their primary responsibility is handling live orders.

Staff+

The Staff+ role possesses slightly more responsibility than the Staff role. These employees work at the individual store level and can edit inventory and view past order history. This additional access empowers them to contribute to inventory management and gain insights into customer behavior for better decision-making.

Manager

The Manager role is assigned to employees responsible for overseeing a single store. Managers have the authority to manage employees, inventory, and store operations. By entrusting them with these permissions, we enable efficient management at the store level, allowing for effective coordination of resources and smooth day-to-day operations.

Supervisor

Supervisors are responsible for managing multiple stores, typically two or more. In addition to the permissions granted to Managers, Supervisors have access to view analytics for multiple locations. This enhanced role equips them with valuable insights into performance across various stores, facilitating strategic decision-making and performance optimization.

Admin

Admins play a critical role in overseeing operations across multiple stores. With responsibilities that encompass managing employees, inventory, store operations, and analytics, Admins have a broader scope of influence. This role is ideal for individuals focusing on store operations and seeking to improve performance across multiple locations.

Super Admin

The Super Admin role holds the highest level of access and responsibility within our system. Super Admins have complete control over all employees and locations, along with full access to all features and functionalities. This role is typically assigned to individuals responsible for system-wide oversight and decision-making, ensuring that the entire platform operates seamlessly.
